Nautical napkins 'n' plates

The girls and I ran over to the local party favors store and they had these too-cute napkins and plates in (what else?!?) NAUTICAL prints :)

Cute Americana Bedding!

I love bedding with an Americana/Nautical feel...and I've found that Tommy Hilfiger does a great line of such linens. One thing I have found, though, is that it's not always easy to create a more formal look when decorating in this style...but adding feminine prints, such as damask, can give it that hint of elegance.



Just mix stripes, polka dots, stars, and more -- it's oo-soo cute!

More Decor

Recently, I followed my mother-in-law into her favorite store: Anthropologie. Of course, I had my camera, and I'm glad I did. They had some whimsical and nautical decor that I had to share.

I'd love to use these (below) as inspiration for a girly nursery...someday.

Coastal Chic...o how I love thee

While I love decorating in chic of all types, Coastal is by far my favorite! When visiting a small town on Whidbey Island, I stopped in a cute little shop and saw some amazing coastal chic decor for sale. Here are some pics that I plan to use as inspiration for my future decorating endeavors.
